Epsom College is a co-educational day and boarding school with approximately 1100 pupils aged 11-18. The College is located one mile from Epsom town, below Epsom Downs in heritage and modern buildings set in a beautiful tree filled campus of some 72 acres. Originally founded by The Royal Medical Benevolent Foundation, today the College strives to develop the individual talents of every girl and boy.

 

The Role

The College is seeking to appoint a creative and dynamic Head of Marketing and Communications, working with the Director of Marketing and Communications will be responsible for delivering the College’s strategic marketing and communications activities across all departments and working to enhance the College’s activities both locally and internationally.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will manage the College’s brand identity as well as supporting the College’s commercial activities such as the International School, commercial lettings and events.  

Managing a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the marketing and communications strategy and working alongside the Admissions team to create and execute pupil recruitment strategies in line with the College’s strategic plan. You will have prior marketing and communication experience gained within education ideally within an independent school.

Criteria for the Appointment

The Head of Marketing and Communications will be conscientious and hard-working individual who enjoys creating marketing content and who has a solid understanding of digital marketing channels. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly organised with a flexible and adaptable style. You will embrace the Epsom College ethos and values in all aspects of the role.
