Making a Difference through a Legacy Gift
Continuing the traditions of Benevolence and Excellence
The founding principles of Epsom College, Benevolence and Excellence, still ring true today. A large number of former Epsom pupils received financial support through the help of benefactors, and many OEs are now making a gift in their own Will to follow these same principles and help the pupils of tomorrow.
A gift can help in so many ways, from supporting bursaries to funding a specific project, such as a capital build. It can be restricted, or left to the College’s discretion as to how it is spent.
The support of our community is very important to the College and gifts have been life-changing for so many pupils. Only a few months ago we heard from an OE who wishes to help fund a pupil’s fees through a legacy gift, as he was so grateful for the education he received as a bursary scholar and Foundationer. His own experience at the College provided a stable environment when his life outside the College was in turmoil, impacted by the sudden loss of his father.
We are indebted to the founders and benefactors who have assisted pupils over the years and hope that our OE community will consider showing as much support for future generations.
If you wish to discuss leaving a legacy to Epsom College, please contact Ms Helen Tranter, Director of Development: helen.tranter@epsomcollege.org.uk / 01372 821290.
Please do let us know if you decide to support the College in this way so that we can acknowledge your gift and thank you for making a difference.

Advising the College
Those considering a legacy pledge are encouraged to inform the Development office of their plans.
This creates an opportunity for the donor to clarify his or her exact intentions and helps the College plan for the future.
It is recognised that some donors prefer not to make their intentions known, but if you would like to discuss your plans, please contact the Development Department, or complete and return this legacy pledge form.
Adding a legacy gift to an existing Will can be done through a codicil. For a printable form with full details, please click here.
