Civil ceremonies and partnerships – Main Hall
Our Main Hall is licenced for wedding ceremonies. With its large windows and vaulted ceiling, the Main Hall is a beautiful, versatile location for civil ceremonies and partnerships; accommodating more intimate ceremonies, as well as those which are larger and more extravagant.

Wedding Receptions
Depending upon the size of your wedding party, you and your guests can enjoy your wedding breakfast in the Main Hall, Big School or a marquee on the lawn. All options provide historic grandeur and style for your special day.
Headmaster’s Lawn – Enjoy spectacular views over the College campus and surrounding Surrey countryside

Main Hall – Intimate but with its airy, vaulted ceiling, this space is perfect for a range of gatherings
- Seated meal – 90 guests
- Drinks reception or buffet – 150 guests
- Hire charge (for 2025) is £750 + VAT, 9am-5pm
Big School – A grand and spacious hall, allowing you and your guests to celebrate on a larger scale
- Seated meal – 200 guests (with room for musical entertainment)
- Drinks reception or buffet – 350 guests
- Hire charge (2025) is £2000 + VAT, 9am – midnight
Marquee – For a much larger event, we can host your reception in a marquee on the lawn, for those wishing to create a truly bespoke event.
Catering: Wedding Breakfast – Three courses, from £70 per head

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to use your in-house catering?
Yes, our experienced and professional in-house catering team will provide the catering.
How long can I provisionally hold a date for?
We are happy to hold a date for two weeks so you don’t lose your preferred date while weighing up the options.
Will the site be exclusive to me?
The building you hire will be exclusive to you during your hire period. Although there may be other events on the College grounds, you should not be aware of any other events.
Is there enough parking for all our guests?
We have plentiful parking spaces and our car park easily accommodates Routemaster buses and coaches, should you wish to lay on transport for your guests.
What time will we have access to the building?
Access is from 10.00am on the morning of your wedding. Fridays and Saturdays – bar closes at 11.00pm, music ends 11.30pm, with 12.00pm midnight finish.
Can we supply our own alcohol?
Yes, corkage will be charged at £10.50 per bottle.
Are any decorations a no-no?
Helium balloons and any naked flames are not permitted in the College buildings. We always suggest that you inform your event manager of all your arrangements so that they can ensure there are no surprises.
