Eleven of Epsom’s youth ambassadors travelled to London for the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation’s annual event. Delegates included the drug policy reform Chair from the House of Lords, Baroness Meacher, as well as various doctors and lecturers.
The peer mentors acted as perfect role models at the evening event, mixing with dignitaries and sharing stories of what they had learned whilst training as drugs education experts.
Assistant Head: Pupil Welfare, Helen Keevil, said: “The government has announced that drugs education will be statutory from 2020. I’m proud that the College is leading the way in innovative ways of teaching young people to make sensible decisions, armed with the correct information.”
