Epsom’s class of 2024 have outdone themselves in this year’s A-levels. Across the board, grades are up on last year and only marginally away from the College’s all-time record haul of top grades. Our students should be immensely proud that they have earned the following:
- 61% A*-A
- 87% A*-B
- 37% of students received a clean sweep of A*/As
Rebecca Brown, Deputy Head: Academic, said: “Congratulations to all of our students! Every result here represents a massive amount of consistent hard work and commitment, and you should be very proud of yourselves. To achieve grades that are even better than last year’s Sunday Times-award-winning results is a huge achievement!”
Not only do this year’s results build on last year’s performance but they come very close to being the best Epsom has ever posted. In 2019 – with a smaller cohort of students – Epsom achieved 90% A*-B. To be just 2.6% off this all-time record is nothing short of excellent.
“This is further proof of the strong upward trajectory that we have all sensed the College is on. Our talented and determined Epsom community is thriving and, whatever the national trends, our pupils continue to push the College forward and achieve great heights,” Rebecca Brown added.
These results mean that 84% of our students have been accepted into their first-choice university, and 95% have been successful with either their first or second choices.
