On the final Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of term the College Community came together to celebrate Christmas by attending beautiful and reflective Carol Services.
The Chapel Choir expertly led all three House Chapel Services. Their singing was outstanding, enchanting and for many, started their Christmas celebrations. The choir performed under the professional direction of Director of Music, Mr Johnson-Hyde, with the invaluable help of Assistant Director of Music, Mr Johns, and College organist, Mr Jonathan Holmes.
On Friday the Lower School Chapel Choir led the Lower School Chapel Service. Mr Johns directed the choir who sang with confidence and real quality.
A team of excellent pupil readers engagingly told the story of the birth of Jesus using the traditional King James version of the Bible. The Chapel was decorated by the parent flower team under the direction of Mrs Poppy Piggot. It looked beautiful.
The Carol Service proved to be a wonderful way to end our term.
