Epsom’s swimmers traveled to Cranleigh to compete in the second fixture of the year. The afternoon saw some great performances from all swimmers and it was really pleasing to see everyone in the team supporting one another throughout the gala.
Well done to Emily Long (R) for swimming in the seniors once again, and also to Lower School pupils Kyle Ruth (Hu), Clemmie Curham (Je) and Ffion Davis (GH) who all swam in the under 16 age group each helping to secure first place finishes in the 4x50m Medley Relays. Congratulations to Clemmie who also came first in the 50m Breaststroke.
Also impressive were Jamie Taylor (P) and Tom Stannard (C) winning the 50m Butterfly in their respective age groups. W
ell done to Amy Scerri (M) who swam four events with little downtime, and also to Izzy Fakkel (Wh) who secured five wins in five events for the senior girls, including both relays.
