Success in sport has always been about more than mere medals and trophies at Epsom. Participation for all is the key, and this term the number of pupils who have played for Epsom is something in which we should all take great pride.
83% of pupils, across all years, have represented the College this term. This is a stunning achievement, and we thank all pupils, staff and parents for playing their part in this.
The guiding philosophy of sport at Epsom is to increase the quality of coaching to all pupils, regardless of ability and to promote a lifelong passion for sport by being enthused at school.
Michael Johnson, Director of Sport, said, “Our fixture schedule is designed to be wholly inclusive and to challenge across all ability levels. If pupils are happy, motivated and playing for enjoyment, they are likely to continue to participate in sport beyond their school years.”
