Ms Jakes, who watched John’s 11th and final performance, was struck by the slick, creative and professional production, which rightfully received excellent reviews, and she was particularly impressed by the range of convincing emotions portrayed by John in his challenging role.
Following his success in Edinburgh, John took part in the prestigious National Youth Theatre. Once again, John has proven his high degree of talent and hard work within the world of theatre by being accepted on yet another highly competitive programme.
Across both experiences, John found that he was able to “gain an insight to what it would be like to perform in a professional environment”, which he found interesting, challenging and a lot of fun.
