Former world number three and British number one squash player, Alison Waters, came into the College to run a clinic for Epsom’s pupils. Alison ran three sessions, for different ability levels. She helped the pupils to develop the technical side of their game through some focussed drills, as well as playing a couple of exhibition games with our the College’s top players.
After each session, Alison answered questions from the pupils; the pupils posed some interesting questions, addressing topics such as her training regime and the psychology of playing high-level sport. Stepping on court with, and learning from, such a knowledgeable and world-class player was a great experience for the College squash squad.
