It was a positive start for the Boys’ Rugby teams with excellent wins for the 1st team, U16As and Bs and the U15As against St Paul’s.
The Girls Hockey players made a stunning start with 10 wins out of 13 matches against Brighton College, with the 1st team winning 3-0 under the floodlights on Friday evening. Sienna Lewis top scored with 4 goals for the U15Ds while Amelie Heal scored three in the U14A victory.
In Football, a buoyant 1st XI travelled to Shrewsbury School for their first-ever ISFA 6s competition. They can be proud of their first performance, winning 4 of their 7 matches, learning quickly, and producing some excellent performances.
The 1st team had a great start to the year with 5 wins following their preseason tour to Manchester, scoring 30 goals in the process, with Seumas Brown and Milo FitzHugh scoring 19 goals between them, with Ollie Hayman contributing another six and countless assists.
In Squash it was another fantastic result for Savannah Ingledew. Savannah travelled to Wales to compete in the Welsh Junior Open and was victorious. The results were 11-5, 11-7 and 11-2, with Savannah winning the game 3-0. She is now working towards the British Junior Open in January which is the biggest event on the junior circuit, attracting players across the globe.
In Boys’ Cricket, following strong performances for Surrey and for London and South-East at the prestigious Bunbury Festival, Nathan Farmer and Ralphie Albert have been selected for the England Young Lions Invitational Games to be played over the weekend of Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September. These games are aimed at the best players within the U16 and U17 age groups.
