Richard Smallshaw, QPM CPM, born April 20 1937 , died on Sept 29 2024. He served in the Colonial Police throughout his career first in the British South Africa Police 1955-1958, then the Nyasaland Police 1959-64 and finally in the Royal Hong Kong Police 1964-1994 retiring as a Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police. He and his wife Jill lived in Cambridge. Eldest son Andrew was in Holman (1986-1991) and his two brothers John (1947-52) and Martin (1949-1953) were also in Crawfurd.
