Year 12 students – Aaron, Max, Matthew, Adrian, and Dejan – represented Epsom College, and the Chemistry Department, at the prestigious Chemistry Race, held at Cambridge University.
Competing against 60 schools, our team tackled advanced chemistry problems that extended well beyond the A-level curriculum. The competition demanded not only deep theoretical understanding but also the ability to collaborate effectively under intense time pressure. Despite facing older and more experienced competitors, our students secured a respectable 39th-place finish – a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional teamwork.
