Although we spent time in very long queues, which all resulted in us sitting up-side-down, feeling sick, getting wet or scared to death, we still had a fantastic time.
It was a privilege to take the pupils out for the day; their behaviour was impeccable, and they all looked after each other so well. We also had amazing support and help from graduate sports assistants: Will Ellis, Katie Mackison and Daniel Perry.
For some it was the very last trip to Thorpe, whereas others have already started looking forward to next year.
