Oscar Lent (Wa) was invited to a ‘beat the pro’ competition during the live third round of the British Masters tournament at Walton Heath Golf Club.
This involved an interview with the golf presenter, Nick Dougherty, at the Sky Zone. The juniors were taken to the par 3, fifth hole, and each player was allocated a group to play with. Oscar played his shot against Lucas Bjerregaard, Ben Horsfield and Julian Gurrier. This was shown on live TV with a pre-shot interview with Hene Zuel, Sky Sports presenter.
It was a great experience to play a shot in a pro competition – very nerve-wracking, but fun at the same time.
