On 5th April, OEs and their guests enjoyed a fascinating tour of Samuel Pepys’ London, guided by Richard Pusey (F 1960-65), followed by lunch in The Walrus and The Carpenter pub. Richard is a City of London Green Badge Guide and OEs have already enjoyed one of his talks via Zoom.
The walk commenced at Tower Hill and included London Wall, Trinity House, the execution site, Seething Lane, St Olave’s Church, All Hallows Barking, St Magnus the Martyr and Old London Bridge, The Monument and ‘The Great Fire of London’.
