The inaugural OE Summer Garden Party was held on Chapel lawn on the afternoon of Saturday, 1st July. Nearly 90 OEs, former teachers, family members and friends enjoyed picnic teas, Pimm’s, a Dixieland jazz band and activities for children. Christian Elliott (OE Club President) and Sir Anthony Seldon (Head) gave short speeches, and before the guests departed, they were given the opportunity to visit the College’s recently opened state-of-the-art building, The Mermaid.
From the feedback received, those who attended are keen for the event to be repeated. We look forward to an even bigger OE Summer Garden Party next year!
