OEs and their guests enjoyed fabulous food, amusing renditions and a superb archive display at the OE Club’s annual dinner in Main Hall on 12th October 2019.
OE Club President, Ian Cunliffe (Cr 1970-74), welcomed guests and the Headmaster talked about the success of drama at the College, as well as giving an update on the College’s latest achivements.
Archivist, Rebecca Jallot, displayed large, framed photos of past productions around the room, and guests were able to browse more photos, as well as programmes and other drama ephemera, following the dinner. Several guests stood up between courses to read a poem or a piece of Shakespeare.
Aptly, Paul Henson was presented with an OE tie on becoming an Hon OE, after retiring with 18 years of service under his belt as a teacher of theatre studies.
