Both the U12A and U13A teams secured wins to advance to the next round of their National Cups. Meanwhile, the U14A, U15A, 1st, and U16A teams competed in the Surrey Schools Qualifiers, with the U14A, U16A, and Senior squads all earning spots in the finals set for March. This success means we’re entering all three age groups into Nationals this November for the first time in years.
Our senior netballers have really been stepping up their game, taking on strength and conditioning sessions and one-on-one training with Director of Netball, Mikki Austin, to sharpen their skills even further. Well done to all the girls for their dedication and a special congratulations to Diana Peters, for her fantastic achievement of being selected for the Pulse Power U17 squad.
This week’s results
In front of a big and passionate crowd, our 1st XI team won round 2 of the Sisters n Sport Cup against St John’s on Tuesday. Epsom were always just ahead in a fast and high-quality match, but the team pulled away in the final quarter to win 29-21. They now advance to the third round of the Sisters n Sport Cup.
Our U13As lost to St John’s 13-32, so they are now out of Sisters n Sport Cup – but still in the third round of the School Sports Magazine. Finally, the U12As beat City of London Freemen’s 24-4 and now advance to the third round of the School Sports Magazine Cup.
