Music Scholars Showcase Concert

The annual Music Award Holders’ Recital took place in Big School on Thursday 11 October. The audience of family, friends and staff, enjoyed an eclectic programme. It was a particularly poignant moment as it was the first concert to once again host a live audience following the pandemic.

In between the concerts, parents of our Music Scholars’ were invited to a buffet supper where they were able to meet members of the Music Department staff.

At the end of the concert, the Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde, thanked the pupils for the commitment and hard work that went into producing such high-quality music-making. He also recognised the impressive work of the College Staff Accompanist, Miss Gill Ford, for helping pupils to prepare such polished performances.
