In Cricket there were matches for the boys and girls against St John’s. The Boys 1st team lost out to a strong and mostly Upper Sixth team, while the 2nd team fell just short on Thursday evening, finishing three runs away from chasing a big total, thanks to 66 from TJ Williams (P).
In the U15As Ben Garrett (G) scored his sixth half-century of the season with 62 in an attempt to chase down St John’s big total, while the bowlers dominated in the U14s, where all three teams were victorious. The U14As bowled St John’s out for 51, with three wickets for Harry Jackson (P) and Luka Woods (Fa).
The U14Cs bowled St John’s out for 60 while the Bs restricted them to 92 thanks to 3 wickets for Lucas Rasmussen (H) and five wickets for Will Hewett (H), who then scored 45 to chase the runs down. Lucas Schmid (Fa) had scored 50 in the week against Tiffin.
The Girls U14As won on Saturday by nine runs, with Amy Scerri (M) taking four wickets in a superb bowling display.
