Doorstep Duets was set up in 2021 by Matthew Bourne, to help reduce social isolation. Bringing escapism and joy to communities through dance – in the park, on the street and in local community organisations.
This week they visited Epsom College and performed their latest piece – Hum (after a humming bird) – demonstrating how kindness ripples outwards to the whole community. Pupils, staff and parents enjoyed the shows, set on our beautiful lawns and within the Quad and pupils were encouraged to participate at the end, playing musical instruments.
