On Friday 26 May, all of Year 7 and 8 descended on Chessington World of Adventures for an action-packed, fun-filled day out. Every Lower School student was able to form a group with their friends and enjoy their time at the park. The rides were great for the thrill seekers and the pupils were able to fully relax and celebrate in a fun and unique way before the half term break.
Drew Langley, Year 8, said “I thought that the trip to Chessington World of Adventures was an incredible opportunity for me. I had only ever been to Chessington World of Adventures with my family before so I was restricted to the more gentle rides because of my younger brother but this time, as I went with my classmates, I was able to ride some of my first rollercoasters. Something which made Chessington an even better place to visit was that I was able to go around on all the rides with my best friend Noah.”
Noah Dinnen, Year 8, said: “I really enjoyed the trip to Chessington World of Adventures, it was a fun experience. I had never been there before and I had a blast! I had a lot of fun going on the rollercoasters with Drew. It made me go out of my comfort zone and go on big rollercoasters. There was also a really fun ride that you went in the air on! It was something that I would definitely like to do again and I really hope that the years to come enjoy Chessington as much as we did!”
