Over the past two weeks in Lower School Science Club we have been learning about stars. Last week, pupils made constellation cubes where light shines through representing the stars in their patterns.
This week, each pupil chose their favourite constellation and used their iPads to complete some research.
Then, using glow in the dark stickers, they created their own personal night sky on the underside of an umbrella. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed extending their knowledge of stars and space and talked excitedly about showing their parents what they had made when they got home.
Previously, we have learned how weather systems are represented and even had a go at giving a weather forecast!
