During the lockdown, the College launched the Lipscomb Competition, an essay competition for Lower Sixth pupils. Students were invited to choose from a range of questions on topical issues, and write a 2,500-word essay, based on their own research.
The winner of the competition was Hollie Gard (R), who wrote a well-researched and persuasive essay in response to the title: Is it fair to label millennials the “snowflake generation”?
Angus Horan (Rn), Oliver King (Rn) and Kameron Padayachy (M) received highly-commended awards.
