London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams inspire and empower learners to be confident communicators offering examinations at three levels, encompassing eight grades.
The audience were treated to a fantastic range of performances from across the different LAMDA disciplines with solo acting, duologue acting and public speeches all taking centre stage.
Public Speaking students impressed with engaging and inspiring talks on sports and personal hobbies, communicating with ease whilst also sharing visual aids to accompany their work.
Third Form pupils took on diverse roles, ranging from an evil cat, determined to wake his human slaves, to chess pieces awaiting the start of a game. Our Lower Fourth actors impressed with comedic characters, such as a medium contacting spirits in a séance, and more serious subjects with siblings navigating dangerous secrets. Middle Fourth students provided the audience with a spectacular breadth of characters with Ancient Greek, Shakespeare and contemporary acting pieces all on show.
Congratulations to all the performers who shared their talent and skills and huge thanks to the technical team, Miss Johnson and Georgina Periam the College’s specialist LAMDA tutor.
