Considering the strength of the field, a fourth position represents a wonderful achievement for Oscar and Liam. Their total of 65 points (7 over par) for two rounds of foursomes golf is a superb achievement that shows great patience, skill and teamwork.
Liam heads off in August to the US (Tusculum University, Tennessee, USA) to read Business and Economics.
Throughout his five years playing golf at the College, Liam has been an inspiration. He arrived at Epsom a good solid golfer and five years later he can now consider himself one of the best young golfers in the UK.
He will be a loss to the pupil body but the College hopes his golfing progress will continue and he will represent Epsom for many years in the Halford Hewitt, “the greatest of all truly amateur tournaments.”
