The first weekend block of fixtures was a great success – it was lovely to get so many competitive fixtures on again in front of appreciative parents.
Highlights from the weekend were the 1st and 2nd team Hockey successes against Brighton College in the Friday night games.
The 1st XI won 12-0 with 4 goals for Emily Long (R) and Jessica Dyson (Wh).
The 2nd XI won 7-2 with Ella Stephens (R) scoring a hat-trick.
There were also wins for the 3rds, U15as and U14As.
In the Lower School the U13AB and C teams all won well against Feltonfleet, with Florence Freeman (Wa) scoring three goals for the A team in their 9-0 win.
In Rugby, the 1st team got off to a winning start against RGS Guildford, with a 22-8 victory. The 2nd team also won 24-11. The Colts A and B teams won close games, while the U14A and B teams scored over 50 points in each of their big wins, Luc Springate (Fa), Freddie Carty (Rn) and Benjy Lee (G) scoring multiple tries.
The U14As followed this up with a convincing 50-0 win over Glyn in the midweek Cup match, with Springate scoring another 5 tries.
