The annual sports challenge, which is open to all girls in the Lower Sixth, is held in memory of Hendelah Waley, a talented, all-round sportswoman, who passed away whilst in the Sixth Form at Epsom.
The competition tests sporting abilities in seven different disciplines – rowing, step-ups, sit-ups, agility, 50m swim, netball and hockey – but the essence is to enjoy taking part.
The competition always produces a high standard of competition and this year was no exception. Elisabeth Phizackerely (Cr) was named overall winner.
The winner was presented with the Hendelah Waley Memorial Cup by Headmaster, Mr Jay Piggot.
