The Epsom College Choral Society and Chapel Choir gave a spectacular performance of Haydn’s Creation on the final Sunday of term. The audience, made up of parents and friends of the College, was treated to a truly wonderful performance of one of the great masterpieces of the choral repertoire.
The conductor, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde (Director of Music), led the choir and the professional orchestra, which included Epsom pupils. The choir and orchestra delivered an impressively mature performance, showcasing the strong choral tradition at the College.
At the end of the performance, Mr Johnson-Hyde dedicated the concert in honour of Emma Pattison, who had been rehearsing with the Chapel Choir in the lead-up to the original performance date.
The spectacular concert was a testament to the hard work and dedication of all involved. It was a truly memorable evening, filled with beautiful music and a sense of camaraderie and joy that was felt by all.
