The Third form ventured off to Box Hill to enjoy some Geography field work and put into practice their knowledge of contours, six-figure grid references and compass points.
Pupils were sent out on a trail to complete a mountain rescue mapping exercise. Armed with instructions, Ordnance Survey Maps and a compass to assist them, the groups were tasked with finding, identifying and safely rescuing a casualty.
The day was filled with sunshine, laughter, and geography.
