During half term 22 students set out for a week of tectonic exploration in Iceland.
Students spent the week exploring waterfalls, glaciers, and lava fields. Highlights of the week included Jokulsarlon glacial bay, Skogafoss waterfall, and exploring the interior of the Langjokull glacier – where guides said we were the first group to ever go up and play an impromptu game of Rugby.
The group represented the College well, and while we didn’t manage to see the northern lights, it was an exceptional trip.
