Over 120 OEs and their guests attended the Fayrer Reunion on a lovely sunny and warm Saturday in September 2019. Many attended a special Chapel Service, led by the College’s Senior Chaplain, Canon Haviland, before gathering on the lawn for drinks.
During lunch in Big School, guests heard from the Headmaster, Jay Piggot; from former Fayrer Housemasters, Paul Williams (Second Master) and Norman Rice; and from two current Fayrer boys, who talked about life in the House today.
In the afternoon, some guests enjoyed pupil-led tours of the campus and Fayrer House, while others headed over to the rugby pitch to watch the College 1st XV beat Eton. The day concluded with afternoon tea in Big School and a chance to view the wonderful archive display put on by the school’s Archivist, Rebecca Jallot.
