Each year School Sport magazine releases rankings for the top 200 state and independent schools in the country. Once again Epsom College is ranked among the top ten schools – moving up one place to eighth position.
The list rates sporting performance, with results compiled from more than 20 different sports and over 120 events. These are drawn from boys’ and girls’ sport and across the age groups.
The table demonstrates the position of strength Epsom currently enjoys. In coed education, Epsom College is now fourth strongest co-ed school in the country, and number one in South East England.
Michael Johnson, Director of Sport, said: “This is a fantastic recognition of what the College’s pupils have achieved in the past year. It highlights the skill, commitment and hard work of our young athletes, and the dedication of a talented team of coaching and support staff. I’m delighted that an independent panel has judged Epsom to be the top co-ed school in South East England.”
