One of a kind, enriching experience
This event, coached by Stacey Marinkovich, Head Coach of the Australian Diamonds, was one of a kind: a truly enriching experience for our players. The day attracted over 150 coaches from schools across the country, all eager to learn from the expertise of the head coach of Australia: the current Netball world No.1 team, the 2023 Netball World Cup holders and the 2022 Commonwealth Games Gold Medallists.
The Masterclass was themed around “Intent with Immediacy / What Next Mindset,” focusing on fostering a proactive, goal-driven approach to netball. This encouraged players to think and act quickly, embracing the need for decisive action and forward-thinking at all times. Throughout the day, our select 1st VI team displayed remarkable focus, discipline, and adaptability in each session.

The girls were challenged to apply these key concepts in both individual and team scenarios, pushing them to think critically on their feet and act with purpose in every play. The energy and dedication they brought to the court was exemplary, and their willingness to embrace new challenges demonstrated their strong commitment to personal and team development.
Our coaching staff, Miss Austin and Mrs Bostock, could not have been prouder of how the team represented Epsom College. Their professionalism, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship were evident throughout the day, and they truly embodied the values of kindness, ambition, integrity and teamwork that Epsom College strives to uphold. I am sure the players’ positive attitude and commitment left a lasting impression on those in attendance.
