Old Epsomian Eboni Usoro-Brown has been named in this summer’s England Netball World Cup squad.
Eboni left Epsom College in 2006 and went on to study Law at Bristol University, where she graduated with an LLB (Hons) and a Masters in Commercial Law.
Having played for England Netball at U17 and U19 levels, Eboni was named captain of England U21s in 2007, leading the squad to the World Youth Championships, and made her senior England debut in 2008.
Goal defender Eboni played a key role in every match of England Netball’s gold-winning Commonwealth campaign last year. In particular, she proved instrumental in England’s narrow defeat of Jamaica in the semi-final, which was won by a single goal in the last second.
Alongside her sporting success, Eboni is also a solicitor at a leading legal firm in South West England.
Eboni is a tremendous role model for Epsom’s girls, showing how with focus and hard work it is possible to combine academic, career and sporting success at the highest level.
