The Thespian of the Term Award was launched in September to celebrate one Junior and one Senior pupil who has embodied the core aims and ethos of the Drama department. Well done to this term’s winners: Barney Fildes (P) and Keira Johnson (GH).
Barney took the role of Jean Valjean in the recent production of Les Misérables. Director of Drama, Miss Rhiannon Johnson, talked about his “excellent leadership skills”, his “consistent creative contributions” and how his final performance was “a triumph!”
Miss Johnson said that Kiera has “displayed imagination and creativity” in every role she played this year. Kiera played both Lucy and Mr Tumnus in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe assessment and also achieved full marks in her recent written exam.
