Cross Country Runners Brave the Chill

A record 990 runners took part in this year’s Inter-house Cross Country competition, which moved from the Downs to the College this year.

One of the oldest sporting events in the College calendar, the Inter-House Cross Country Competition, is always keenly contested, with runners entering into the spirit of the competition and giving their best for their house.

This year, the event moved back to its original home on the College’s grounds, after several years on the Downs. Competitors braved chilly temperatures, in beautiful crisp autumn sunshine. Parents, staff and other members of the College community weren’t deterred by the cold – wrapping up against the elements to cheer the record-breaking 990 runners on throughout.
