The Computer Science trip to San Francisco was a great success and saw pupils visit Google, Apple, Microsoft and Meta in Silicon Valley, as well as learning about chips and processors at Intel. The pupils all want to work for Google now, not least because the bicycles were the most colourful.
The pupils and staff were awed by The Golden Gate Bridge and profoundly inspired by their visit to Stanford University; what a wonderful place to study! All are committed to good behaviour henceforth, to avoid returning to Alcatraz as inmates.
Huge thanks go to Mr Muwonge and Ms Frackowiak for supporting the trip with such commitment and enthusiasm. Also to the pupils for their good humour, energy and excellent behaviour.
