During each four-minute session, pupils asked parents a series of questions — from “what do you like about your job?” and “what challenges do you face in your career?” to “what does a typical day look like for you?”.
At the sound of the bell, pupils moved to the next parent, ensuring they had the chance to meet every professional and gain insights into a diverse array of careers.
The event exposed pupils to a remarkably broad spectrum of professions, including Epsom’s own Head Chef; a uranium sales professional; and an Audit Director at Lloyds. The esperience offered pupils valuable first-hand perspectives on career pathways, skills, and day-to-day realities.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the parents and staff who made this event such a success: Alan Crawford, Nolla Sleiman, Jeroen Lemmens, Dasha Demydenko, Andrew Trowell, Dan Morris, Gyorgyi Gurban, Imran Akhtar, Allee Bonnard, and Paul Ventris.
