Our students were welcomed by lead architect Tim Gledstone and his creative team, who provided a behind-the-scenes look at the dynamic and multifaceted nature of a career in architecture.
The day kicked-off with an inspiring presentation that offered a glimpse into the studio’s projects, blending art with the technical precision of architecture. From the outset, students were shown the breadth of disciplines involved in modern architectural design, such as sustainable architecture, the latest advancements in design software, and the innovative use of materials.
A highlight of the visit was the chance to meet with and talk to the architects, asking questions that sparked conversations about career paths, future trends, and the role of art in shaping functional spaces. The hands-on experience continued with a tour of the practice.
“This was a great and very informative day out, and judging by the numbers who attended, Architecture is becoming a popular university choice at Epsom College,” said Mr Arvanitis, Head of Art.
