Almost 600 Pupils Compete In Record-Breaking Year 5-6 Cross Country Competition

Schools from across Surrey and South London turned out in force for this year's event - with parents and teachers cheering on from the sidelines

Boys and girls from 39 schools competed to be crowned the 2024 Cross Country Champions – tackling a 1.8 mile course around the Epsom College grounds.

The rain stayed away, which saw record numbers of spectators – and dogs! – turn up to cheer on the young athletes. The focus, professionalism and sportmanship on display from all competitors was truly impressive as they paced themselves around the course, accompanied by applause from the crowd and music from the PA system.

The winning teams in each category were awarded a shield and a medal with additional gold, silver and bronze medals given to the winners in each age category.

We look forward to welcoming schools, pupils, and parents, back in 2025.
