The story of Elijah’s battles against the followers of Baal, his exile by Queen Jezebel, and his ascension were brought to life through the 120 singers on stage accompanied by a full symphony orchestra.
The strength and breadth of musical talent at the College was highlighted in the number of musicians playing in the orchestra alongside the professional players, and the pupil vocal soloists. This tremendous performance was conceived, rehearsed, and delivered by Assistant Director of Music, Mr Freddy Wickham, showcasing the College’s rich musical tradition.
