The boys faced Canford in Rugby and there were two more good wins for the 1st and 2nd teams. The 1st team rotated the squad around and still emerged comfortable victors 29-5 while the 2nd team showed how well they have been playing by being disappointed to have conceded their first points in a 26-8 win. Griff Grealis (C) excelled with three tries.
A composite 3rd/4th XV squad took on Sutton Valence 2nd team and again showed their mettle with a 28-7 victory.
The U16As had pleasing success with their 50-0 win where Charlie Witten (G) scored three tries and Olaiya Adeniji (F) two.
In the U15s, the A team performed well to score 55 points themselves, with Jude Clark (G) scoring three tries, Jamie Yorke (F) and Josh King (H) two. This was their fourth win of the season, following on from their comfortable 50-point win against Richard Challoner in the NatWest Cup 1st round.
The U15Bs also scored many tries in their big win, Ollie Laidlaw (Fa) scoring three, while Angus Horan (Rn), Joel O’Donnell (P) and Callum Scholes (G) scored two tries each.
The U14As returned to winning ways after two close defeats, with a 19-7 victory in a match where Jasper Lawler (P) stood out.
The U14B team won their second close match in succession, this time 15-12 thanks to a last-minute drop-goal from player of the match John Esson (F).
Alongside the 2nd XV, the U14Cs remain the only other unbeaten rugby team, having won all 4 of their matches so far. On Saturday, they continued their impressive season defeating Canford 52-5, with Louis Saint (G) scoring five tries.
St George’s proved too strong for the U13 and U12 A and B sides, winning comfortably in each game, but progress continues to be made, with Seumas Brown (Wa), Sam Kirby (GH), Morris Griffin (Hu) and Adam Combe (Wa) standing out.
