Lockdown has afforded many of us the time to sort through forgotten cupboards, reorganise attics and clean up our hard drives. Consequently, I have been inundated with items for the Archive. I have been lucky enough to receive photographs from the 1920s, Founder’s Day invitations and dinner menus from the 1960s and House and sports photos from multiple decades. Alongside this, memories and anecdotes have been typed, dictated and handwritten to me from all over the UK and most recently from Canada, Australia and Argentina.
I feel hugely privileged to receive your items from such an engaged community. Your photographs, objects and words help me to understand the stories of Epsom College and in turn help me to tell these stories to a wider community. The Archive is very much alive with the history of Epsom College. Do get in touch with me if you have a possible donation: rebecca.jallot@epsomcollege.org.uk
