On Thursday 21 November, the Performing Arts Centre was transformed into the wonderful world of Wonderland for the Lower School Drama Club and M4 College Player’s performance of Alice.
The young cast took on Miss Johnson’s challenge of performing extracts from the modernised version of Carroll’s classic, with under 10 hours rehearsal time
The 14-strong cast transported their audience into the weird and quirky world where Alice’s search for ‘The Heart’ took her on a journey of personal discovery. This term the club was ably-assisted by two Upper Sixth theatre studies pupils, plus the technical team was composed of keen and talented Upper Fourth and Fifth Form students.
The Performing Arts Centre was full to the brim and the audience and company were treated to drinks and jam tarts post-performance.
