The event was a great success and members of the Epsom College community shared their recollections about Mr Laing’s life and career at the College.
The evening was held in support of the College, and our efforts to raise funds to honour Neil, by naming a room in The Mermaid or perhaps dedicating the landscaping and grounds that will surround the Mermaid Building.
The Mermaid building will provide the College with much-needed additional teaching space, including a lecture theatre, gallery and café and many classrooms both large and small.

We all wish to honour Neil’s life and career, and as the Mermaid building works are now well underway, we hope that you will help us make a dedication in his name, as we embark upon this new, large and exciting building.
We have only been able to make this huge investment in the College estate as a direct result of the outstanding generosity of our community, and we thank all involved for their great benefaction and support.
