Three Epsom players achieved the remarkable feat of going unbeaten through the 2021-2 squash season.
Upper Sixth Form student Fraser Spalding (Fa) finished his College career on a high, winning all 29 of his matches across the season.
Upper Fourth Ronnie Hickling (C), who captained the U14 and U16 sides, won a record 32 matches.
Meanwhile, the unbeaten run of Third Former Luke McBride (GH) extended to 30 matches, which was particularly impressive as several of his opponents were Sixth Form age.
Many of their victories were not straightforward: all three emerged victorious in numerous tightly-contested matches that culminated in a deciding game, including crucial contests at the National Finals. Fraser, Ronnie and Luke should be commended for displaying such determination and discipline under pressure, and their vital contributions to Epsom’s historic success in squash this season.
