On the morning of Monday 27 September, the Third Form travelled to Hindhead to spend two nights at PGL’s Marchants Hill centre. There was much excitement in anticipation of the trip and pupils arrived at the centre eager to get stuck into the exciting range of activities on offer.
Whether challenged to take part in abseiling, raft-building, archery or orienteering, the pupils demonstrated great confidence and resilience and their enthusiasm was infectious. The PGL staff commented on the excellent behaviour and impeccable manners of the pupils and the Epsom College staff enjoyed the opportunity to build relationships with the Third Form outside of the classroom.
The trip came to an end on Wednesday 29 September with pupils returning to College that afternoon, tired but cheerful, having strengthened their developing friendships.
