It was a busy and successful summer for Epsom’s Squash players.
Oxshott Open in June: in the U15s, Ronnie Hickling won and Wilf Baker came third.
Rhyen Patel and Luca Nicolosi trialled and were selected for the Surrey Squash squad. They will start training and competing with the county from September. They join a number of Epsom juniors playing for Surrey, including Finn Vowles, Zach Woolven, Luke Camfield, Ronnie Hickling and Wilf Baker.
Ronnie Hickling and Luke Baker have been training with the England squad over the summer. Luke had already competed for England at U13 level, though Ronnie was unable to secure his first cap this summer due to Covid.
Jersey Squash Championship in July: Stan Tanguy won the men’s tournament. In the final, Stan defeated the local club coach 3-2.
Surrey Closed Tournament in July: in the U15s, Luke Camfield came second, Ronnie Hickling third, Wilf Baker fourth.
